SUJEET KARKALA, ESQ.

Sujeet Karkala earned his Masters in Law from Duke University School of Law in 2011 and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mumbai, in India.

Mr. Karkala is originally from India and brings to The Bhatta Law & Associates tactical and strategic experience related to Cross Border Transaction and Common Law.

Mr. Karkala  worked as an In-House Consultation in International Business and Immigration with the Law Firm of Shaw & Associates, P.C. His practice with the Firm includes International Taxation, Immigration Law, Corporate Law, International Business Law along with Cross Border Transaction .

Mr. Karkala is a Foreign Trained attorney who has right to practice in India and have worked with number of law firms in India. He is also a consultant in the area of Corporate Taxation and International Taxation.

Before joining the Firm Mr. Karkala has done his internship with the Law Office of Allen E. Kaye P.C., in the area of Business Immigration Law (Investor).

He is Member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. He is also associated with number of associations in India: Bombay Bar Association, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Association, and All India Federation of Tax Practitioners.

Mr. Karkala has published number of articles in various journals in India and abroad. He currently heads the Bhatta Law & Associates’s Mumbai office in India.
