ILYA LAKSIN, ESQ.
Ilya Laksin brings in-depth knowledge and experience in various aspects of the practice. He practices federal court litigation, immigration law, criminal defense, contract disputes, post-conviction relief, civil practice, and family law serving a wide range of clients. Mr. Laksin has the exceptional ability to solve complicated legal issues and is well versed in legal writings.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Laksin worked for several municipal Public Defenders’s Office and has worked with honorable judges in Superior Court of New Jersey and therefore brings in dynamic prosecutorial perspectives. Mr. Laksin is also passionate about human rights-based immigration and has volunteered with Catholic Charities and the Legal Aid Society of New York working on a wide-range of immigration matters. Throughout his career, Mr. Laksin has demonstrated a strong commitment to zealously representing his clients.
Mr. Laksin was a Dean’s Merit Scholar at Seton Hall University School of Law where he earned his J.D. He previously graduated magna cum laude with a degree in philosophy from Rutgers University.
Mr. Laksin is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.
